Release the KRAKEN!

Wanted to make a blue commander deck with a heavy giant sea creature theme. I didn't want to go heavy on counterspells and keep with the tapping mechanic of the commander. Haven't play tested it yet so any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

You must have read my mind, as a mono{B} Sea Creature deck with this Same Commander is my next project. I, too want to see how this works. I just scanned your card choices, but is making Islandwalk a priority, and if so, how to best keep it active? One idea I had is work in a {Whelming Wave} for one-sided Board Wipe.

Wow  {Whelming Wave} is insanely perfect. Embarassed I left it out. Islandwalk wasn't really a priority just a nice added bonus.

Maybe something like {Jorneyor's Kite} to help you get the mana for your sea monsters?

Although it won't quite fit the flavor of the deck, {Snow-Covered Island}s and {Scrying Sheets} could be really good for digging through your deck.

I would consider {caged sun} so you can get some more pump and double the mana

Maybe over the  {Spellbook} try a  {Venser's Journal}?  Or maybe even- though it isn't foolproof max hand size-  {Tamiyo, the Moon Sage}? She could fit the theme nicely, too
