Is it just me?

Ok, so is it just me, or does BNG feel kinda old already? I don't know why I feel that (maybe its because I started playing Magic between RTR and Gatecrash, and those sets had different themes with the guilds, and the Theros block is just  the same basic 'themes' in a way), but I just want to know if anybody else feels that way.

NOTE: I'm not saying it's bad, but it just feels like time for a new set already.

I feel like after the hype of the spoiler season and prerelease, the placidity of standard is pretty boring. I'm still excited for the pro tour and seeing modern with the new banlist, though.

Alpha is old. Beta, unlimited, Revised are old. Whatever BNG is, it's not old.

Probably starting during the current sets would make you feel that way though.

BNG?  Hell, standard is old.  So tired of the hype over a couple cards, and then in a year or two, the card is worthless and everyone talks about how bad it is.  Standard is just not a fun format, imo.  Modern is by far my favorite.  Although, if I had a higher disposable income, Legacy would probably be my favorite.  I like the eternal formats.  Rotation is stupid.  I'm already burnt out on the whole block, to be honest haha.  Ready for bigger and better.  More eternal goodstuff!

I hear you. It's for those reasons that I play Commander. I look at all the spoilers and think "now, how can these cards fit into my EDH deck?"
