Can you have both versions of Xenagos on the battlefield at the same time?

Birdbrain

This was asked before. And the awnser is yes. Xenagos's god form only checks for other god forms. His walker form only checks for other walker forms. Both of themselves

Sparkle Ninja

Sorry i didn't know it was asked before. But hooray!!!

Same thing with {nicol bolas} and {nicol bolas, planeswalker}, and {venser, shaper savant} and {venser, the sojourner}

704.5k: If a player controls two or more legendary permanents with the same name, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners' graveyards. This is called the "legend rule."

205.3j: Planeswalkers have their own unique set of subtypes; these subtypes are called planeswalker types. The planeswalker types are Ajani, Ashiok, Bolas, Chandra, Domri, Elspeth, Garruk, Gideon, Jace, Karn, Koth, Liliana, Nissa, Ral, Sarkhan, Sorin, Tamiyo, Tezzeret, Tibalt, Venser, Vraska, and Xenagos.
     If a player controls two or more planeswalkers that share a planeswalker type, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners' graveyards. This "planeswalker uniqueness rule" is a state-based action. See rule 704.

The Legend Rule isn't the same as the Planeswalker rule. This is why you can have a {Xenagos, the Revelor} and a {Xenagos, God of Revels} out.
