Let's be honest guys, there is an answer for everything in this game, Brimaz has value because he is dangerous if left alone. It isn't that he is hard to kill, it is that if you make the choice not to by using removal elsewhere, he will let you know why it is a bad idea to ignore him.

On the other side of the coin, because he is so dangerous by himself he is a magnet for removal, allowing your other creatures to potentially dodge that doom blade or other removal spell.
