The orchestral versions are awesome, but you really can't beat the original 16-bit (?) retro tunes for nostalgia sake.

Once I was listening while playing with a friend and I swear the vibe of the music synced up with what was happening in the game. 😄

Diehard FF fan and 7 was the best.  I can say that I beat Emerald and Ruby weapon.  I can remember the game time being maxed out with all 9's.  What an epic game......I bought it on PC years later and my disk kept failing at the prison boss fight sequence and I have not bothered with it since....Because of disappointment 😭

I loved the materia system......you could set up some cool combos.  Counter Magic with Fire.  HP Steal with Fire.  MP Steal with Fire.  and so on and so on.....

So yup "that guy" was an accurate description 😜. I loved the Triple Triad card game that was in FF8!!!!

I was not a big fan of drawing the magic spells.  This turned into something you had to spend time just grinding out and it was boring.
