G/W Elves?

I'm new to the game and don't have any cards from pre-Scars block, but I would like to build a G/W Elf deck for Modern play. However I don't really have much knowledge of older blocks so I don't know where to start. Any tips appreciated

Depends on the type of white u r going to use mana ramp is defiantly a good idea just to use bigger green creatures
