I recently got into smoking cigars and I really like them. Does anyone else smoke cigars? What's your favorite?

I prefer to not slowly kill myself with poisons and toxinigans.  But if I is did smoke (not vamping which would be my first choice) I would smoke cigars for the class.

I like smoking most things. The only thing I don't like is cigarettes.

You don't inhale cigars. Yes mouth cancer is still possible but depends on how you smoke. If its just here and there socially it's not going to kill you. If you chain smoke, I can't help you.

But you can't get flavor if no smoke goes in you, so some does go in you.  And how do you get your nicotine fix with cigars?

No real nicotine fix in cigars. Just meant to enjoy the taste and be super classy And the smoke only goes in the mouth. No lung action their.

Wait, then what's the point of cigars if smoke doesn't go inside you?

If you inhale cigar smoke you won't be happy, it'll make you sick if you aren't used to it.cigar smoke can be inhaled and you can get used to it but if you do it's actually much worse for use as cigars are unfiltered and larger than a cigarette.

And there is nicotine in cigars. You won't get as much if you don't inhale but there still is some,

Pipes bro! Class level just increased by 15! Just saying. I don't smoke but ciggaretts are just gross, and cigars aren't great, pipe smoke smells best IMO, I don't mind people around me smoking a pipe if they have good tobacco because the smell isn't irritating.

I'm not enough of an aficionado to say which cigar is good. Generally if it looks like a turd but smells like heaven it's gonna be great. Smoking a fat stogie makes for a great night with the guys but throw in a smoke ring contest and life just doesn't get better.

I know very little about tobacco pipes, but I'm pretty sure you inhale. If I'm wrong, I'll probably look into it, but yeah, I'm like 98% sure it hits the lungs.

I have a little cigar exposure from my coworkers, so here's some tips:

Way cheaper that buying singles from your local liquor store. Samplers are a good place to start, to find out what your taste is.

I like flavored cigars. Copper Labels are a more budget option, but I prefer Drew Estate Naturals (Root is my favorite).

Hookah is another smoker's option. Tastes great, doesn't stink up the room permanently, isn't harsh, and is a fun social activity, But it does require a lot of prep work, a little skill, and you can't take it to work, in your car, etc. Of course, this can also help prevent you from being a full-time smoker, as it is such a hassle...

The coals are very dangerous, so I must, for the record, advise that you don't drink and smoke hookah. I've spent many nights hanging with brothers and friends, rotating coals, passing the hose, and playing Magic.

My klutzy brother also burned several holes in my carpet with charcoal.

I really enjoy hookah. I'm actually going over to my friends place today to play magic and enjoy hookah I have like 4-5 smoke shops in my town, so I'll be going into each one to ask a few questions.

Smoke goes inside of you, whether it makes it to your lungs or not cn be a different story.  And that's how much of a smoking ignoramus I am.  I would like to keep it that way too.  (Meaning I won't smoke and learn these things.  I'm fine with talking about them)

Think of it like this. You take a bite of delicious cake, but don't swallow it so it doesn't go straight to your thighs same thing with cigars. It's terrible to inhale cigars because, as mentioned before, the have no filter and are SUPER harsh on the lungs. Vapors are fun, as is hookah, and I know very little about pipes(except that they are as classy as a top hat and monocle).
