Modern Revamp

Now, before you all get excited, this isn't about the Modern format.

What I've been thinking of doing is getting a  creature type (in this particular case, Soldiers) and redoing some of them to reflect the capabilities of our present day Soldiers.

Most cards would stay the same, but Legendaries in particular would be redone slightly.
Thoughts? Opinions?
