Nah man i like the concept! Good pick i thought about adding that in a jund auras version of this deck

I really like this and I think I might build something similar, but I have a few things. Have you tried {Liliana of the Dark Realms}, she can deck thin and the neg can kill. Aren't you worried about getting yourself so low lifewise that your opponent can just top deck a {Lightning Strike}? Lastly, have you thought about {Underworld Connections}? It gives you card advantage at less cost than {Pain Seer} and it is more consistent.
