Hey are there any art lovers in here? What's your favorite genre of art and what kinds of genres are there out there

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

I love art. If music is considered art, then that, Jazz band specifically. Otherwise I love pop culture stuff that makes you think is nice.

I'm really into almost anything to do with music or theatre....so Musical Theatre and Mtg are essentially my life...

Apathy Reactor

Art in the form of music and paintings, drawings, ect. I'd say my favorites are landscapes and architectural

Vyse

My girlfriend is in collage for graphic design, and has won a few awards for her work. She also makes all my avatars in her spare time for the various forums I go to online (like this one). I was art club president through high school, my favorite mediums being photography and clay. I wish I had acces to a nice camera and a kiln still :(

Btw I do have a thread dedicated to my 3D artwork in the "arts" section, you guys should check it out or shoot me a request

I'm actually a big fan of graffiti, tattoos and pencil. I feel like they are all virtually limitless canvases limited only by creativity and talent. But the same can be said about any art I guess. I have been playing with photography since I won my camera also, this is absolutely also a talent.

InfinitiveDivinity

Video games. Easily one of my favorite art forms. A great game can combine beautiful visuals with excellent music, and when you tie all that in with a killer storyline, you have yourself a masterpiece. To this day one of my favorite games is Metroid Prime. I have yet to play the second or third, (which is very high on the todo) but that game is gorgeous! And the soundtrack on that game is one of the best I have ever heard, hands down.

Langku

Watercolor, ink, a pencil. I fiddle with photoshop but it's not a strong suit of mine. Acrylics at times but rarely. Do Legos count?

^ this, is very true.  Even games that suck, can be beautiful.  Look at Killzone Shadow Fall.  That game just sucks, but I love looking at it. :)
