if you put him in a deck with lots of death triggers and/or undying you can turn his negative effect ino a huge advantage...while simultaneously putting pressure on your opponent. I'd use him if I ran those colors

In a R/B Aggro deck, he could be pretty sweet. I'm curious, does Hybrid mana count towards 1 or 2 devotion? I.E. Does {Rakdos Cackler} count towards 2 or 1, due to the hybrid symbol.

Hard to say. When choosing for an effect like shrine you have to choose either or. But a static effect that just looks for the symbols dunno

The new gods are looking pretty .poo.y. I don't even think I will use them in EDH. I hoping for something cool out of the Junk ones so I can make a Junk God deck (standard).
