Hey guys. I've tried searching for this but I can't get a clear cut answer.

Does a creature w/ double strike deal damage twice to a player?

Does he deal a total of 2 damage to a player?

Yes, it deals damage twice


Fencing ace will deal 1 damage (considered first strike damage) and then regular combat 1 damage.

Anything that states "when this deals combat damage to something" WILL trigger twice

Again, the first attack of double strike is considered first strike.

(First Strike = It deals damage before the creature it blocked or blocks it)
