what do you mean they have nothing to see? they see your whole hand go to your yard instead of seeing one card go the yard and letting you keep the rest.

{Despotic Scepter}

Sac outlet that triggers destroy effects

{Vizzerdrix}

Hey wizards thanks for the 6/6 vanilla for 7cmc
That's exactly what I wanted in my rare spot
It's blue. That makes it awesome, it's huge for blue. For blue.

If that's what you want to spend seven mana on or pull from a pack your nuts.

It's in you graveyard, it's not like it matters, the graveyard can be checked by anyone at any times by choice, it doesn't really matter. They don't get to see anything you can play, not make you discard something, which is that the card does, they wasted a powerful spell, and they lose 2 life.

What do you guys are the worst rare cards ever? I'm thinking maybe {Spine of Ish'Kah}, but I don't really know.

The spine gave me fits in an EDH game last night!

I'd pay two life to have you discard 1-7+ cards... Worth.

Trugamr12

{trait doctoring} just a waste of a rare slot in a awful set

I'd say if you redirected the discard that rare isn't awful.

Trait doctoring would be much better if instant and could affect instant spells/sorceries

{{Archangel's Light}} for Mythcs, followed closely by {{Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded}}

Worst Rare: {{Sorrow's Path}}

I actually like Tibalt for being a 2 drop

I really don't understand how you think this situation results in a player wasting a spell. consider both options. i {thoughtseize} you. you let it resolve. i see your hand and make you discard 1 card. i lose two life. situation 2: i {thoughtseize}. you respond by casting {one with nothing}. your spell resolves, and every card in your hand is discarded. {thoughtseize} resolves and its only effect is to deal two damage. you just basically let me cast 7 {thoughtseize}s for the price of one.

I actually hate Tibalt for being existing
Fixed it for you :P

Lol!!
At least we don't have to burn pi at the stake anymore since his statement was CLEARLY typod...

I did actually hit post before I was finished. I like that he is a 2 drop planeswalker, that can steal every creature on the battlefield. He does it without using my of your mana so you can cast {thromok, the insatiable}  and wipe the board

I really like Trait Doctoring, it can take care of that {Stormbreath Dragon}'s protection, or help out your {Master of Waves} survive. If it was instant, wow!

Conan, I think {Archangel's Light } is solid in EDH. It can be a clinch card for any deck that runs tutors to let you recycle key cards and the added life gain can come in handy too. That said, it's crap in any 60 card deck.

Now if you want to know the worst rare ever search no further than {search the city} (that's right mikefrompluto!). I can't imagine a scenario or format where that would be worth playing.

I know right?!?!? My playgroup actually thinks it's good! One of my friends splashed blue on his Rakdos deck just for that! It sucks!

I want to make an EDH deck around it though.
