So I've acquired Emmaras. I'm putting two in my GW Tokens. I'm not sure about her ability though. When it says "prevent damage" does that include combat damage (creature to creature) and instant/sorcery damage (e.g. Red stuff)? Does Emma practically make my tokens Indestructible? Thanks guys.

It prevents damage from things like {Searing spear} and combat damage. It prevents everything that says damage in it, however it doesn't make them indestructible. They are still vulnerable to things like {Murder} that say destroy, and things like {Mutilate} that make their toughness 0.

why is why, in my opinion, emmara isn't very great. stuff like {supreme verdict} still destroys everything.

Find a way to make a token copy of her. Like.{rite of replication} then damage is prevented for her too. So no one can burn her then blow up the tokens

Emmara is horrid. Too high CMC, lacklustre effect, doesn't even give herself her own effect. Even in limited, she is only decent because of her high P/T, which I don't really understand. I mean, varolz is a giant troll with a club, and he is a 2/2, whereas Emmara is but a simple elf, and she more than doubles Varolz's P/T!

I know that, I'm talking about for flavour. Varolz gets way bigger in-game, but out of game, a troll vs an elf. Who would you think would have higher P/T?

Seems like the majority would prefer not putting Emmaras. What should I use to replace her then? I never took into account sweepers. Too much {Supreme Verdict} mates.
