Maybe piotr should change it to 200-300 posts before you can modify karma possibly? Or make it you can give only positive karma until a certain number of posts? Maybe no neg karma unless the big man himself hands it out as say a punishment?

Considering that I can actually see who's doing the negging (as all mods can), I can assure you that is everyday regular members hitting the button. I rarely see unfamiliar names on the giving end of karma-negs.

This is not true. He got pinged a few times both ways on his post. Didn't get killed either way.
