Selesnya is hilarious. You go:
T1-{Temple Garden}, {Arbor Elf}
T2-{Plains}, {Fabled Hero}
T3-{Unflinching Courage}, {Etheral Armor} swing for 16 with trample and lifelink
They respond by casting {{Hero's Downfall}}
Fixed it
That's honestly why I took apart my Selesnya Heroic within two weeks of making it. I prefer Selesnya Hexproof. People get so annoyed when they end up with a hand full of {Doom Blade}s and {Hero's Downfall}s.
There's a {{Devour Flesh}} for that. Either that or a {{Supreme Verdict}}. Hexproof is dumb...
For {Devour Flesh} I just sac a stupid {Gladecover Scout} that I would only use as a chump blocker anyways and for {Supreme Verdict} I either use {Ready / Willing} or {Rootborn Defenses} both of which are in the sideboard. The deck actually runs pretty well, I usually place top 4 with the deck at FNM.

Trust me bc it's a jank card but {Mending Touch} is great vs Verdicts!! Bc really GW Hexproof is (for me anyway) just pump up one guy until he wins me the game so I rarely (if ever) need to protect more than one guy so {Mending Touch} although janky it's great!!
