At making yourself look dumb?

Last week I was on a public transit bus and tried to get the seat down by moving the latch. It got jammed so I just have up played on my phone ... Next stop bus stops quickly and the seat falls injuring me ... Lol

Tonight I get on a full bus (middle of winter so I have a big jacket) and I'm trying to unzip it but it gets stuck! I try harder and eventually it gives but in the process I elbow a very attractive girl 😖 fml

So any awkward stories for you guys?

So many times have I tried to speak normally in my native language of English and end up lousing it all up most of the time.
Like last year during spring travel soccer I was talking to some teammates about how my track season was going and I meant to say shotput and discus and ended up saying s**t really embarrassing since I don't swear

I struggle to speak fast and clearly at the same time, so I'm always tripping over my words. And I'll forget the names of things sometimes as well, Agrus.

My wife's always saying stuff like "you know, that thing that goes into the other thing at that place" and I'm just like "...wut".

Pretty much any time I'm forced into a one on one interaction my English immediately fails and I start stuttering and slurring and trying to gesture into what I am trying to say and it's...unnerving to say the least.

Ha!  I'm great at that!  Several years ago, I was mostly asleep in an algebra class when the teacher decided to do a random question and asked me what the square root of 100 is. I, of course, was all flustered and the best response I could come up with was "Uhhhhhh.... I don't really know.." Which led to him stopping and looking at me strange, and proceeding to ask if I was ok and if I seriously didn't know the answer.

I also was working with a scared dog at work a couple months ago and it didn't want to walk into a room. For whatever reason, I decided that it would help if I gave a little tug on his collar, and now I've got a pretty neat scar on my hand haha.
