Assistance please!

Looking to start an EDH deck as {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} as my commander. I feel he has potential and would love to maximize on it.

Any suggestions as to staples would be great! The land part is fairly easy enough, unless there's some wacky land that would be perfect with him or his meta.

I have a pretty set idea on what I want to focus around, but brainstorming with you guys is my ultimate goal!

I would say run lots of Tutors. Perhaps Eldrazi as well? They could be amazing to sac, then tutor again

Savra + {Grave-Shell Scarab} is a pretty fun way to get cards and lock up the board a bit.

Edit: oh, and tutors! You're in black, so stuff those tutors in there!

{Sign in blood} for the dredge? Also {grisly salvage}, {commune with the gods} and {mulch} to get your dredge in the graveyard early. Grisly and mulch are awesome for searching lands too.

Don't play {Mesmeric Orb}. It's just such a dick card. "Ok now you untap your 17 lands. Oh, I'm sorry you mill 17 too."
