Situation: player A attacks with 1 {Kessig Recluse}

Player B: blocks with {Carapace Forger} + {Wall of Tanglecord} + {Oran-Rief Recluse}

In response Player A plays the bloodrush ability of {Skarrg Goliath}

How does this play out?

Thanks

your creature gets +9/+9 and trample, so since it has deathtouch you just need to deal 1 damage to a creature to destroy it, so in this case you deal 1 damage to each of the 3 opponents creatures, and the rest tramples over!! :P

Trample + Deathtouch is an awesome combo!!

so Kessig Recluse becomes an 11/12 so it deals 1 damage to each of their creatures then 8 goes through to hit the player!

Follow up: how would that work if he had blocked with {Cho-Manno, Revolutionary}

Only 2 damage would be needed to destroy him so the rest would trample over him because Trample doesn't require the creature to die it just requires the lethal amount to be dealt same with {Tajic, Blade of the Legion} 2 damage dealt rest trampled over

702.2b Any nonzero amount of combat damage assigned to a creature by a source with deathtouch is considered to be lethal damage, regardless of that creature's toughness. See rules 510.1c-d.

So should it only take 1, all combat damage is simultaneous, except for 1st strike & double strike

You assign the one deathtouch damage to that dude and the rest to the player.  The damage to the creature gets prevented, so it doesn't die, and the player takes he large amount of damage.

Creatures with a colour protection (such as {Karmic Guide}, which has protection from black) can't block creatures of that colour, and can't be targets of spells or abilities that colour.

{Karmic Guide} can block black creatures; it just cannot be blocked by black creatures.
