I'm currently reading "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. A vert big classic.

if you like jack, I'd recommend The Dharma Bums and the hippos were boiled in their tanks. and not by the same author but same kinda mindset "zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" is also spectacular.

I am currently reading the Diablo series of books. Currently on The Sin War, book 2. Liking it so far.. There's like 6-7 other books... Then onto the hunger games (cause EVERYONE I know gets mad at me cause I haven't read em yet), then!!! Ted Dekkers new book(s)!!
Dekker is one of my favorites, have you read the Circle Trilogy yet? or Showdown?

I bought the hardcover Circle Trilogy with Black, Red, White, and Green. I've read that book four times now. I love it. Easily my favorite book series.

Finished Hyperion. Mildly annoyed at the ending. It ends with no resolution and you have to read the next book to find out what happens with the pilgrimage. I honestly probably never would've read it had I known that. My To Read is too massive to be reading any two part books right now. Also read Thumbprint, another short story by Joe Hill. It was forgettable but only took 45 minutes to read so I'm not too disappointed with it. About to start The Strain.

1/4th of the way through The Strain and I had to abandon it. It was so boring, and from the reviews I've read, it sounds like it doesn't pick up. I may finish it eventually but now is not its time. Starting Lord of Light tonight.

Not a reader but of the dozen or so books I have read, I absolutely fell in love with the Halo series.  I love the games and all, but the books are 10x better and I hate to read!

I'm in love with any novel written inside the Haloverse. Also the Dark-Hunter series, the two (going on three) trilogies written by Kylie Chan, and the Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices series.

Steerpike

Spencer Addington

*cough*cough Wheel of Time series.

Phoenix X30

I read the 7 Dark Tower books by Stephen King and I havnt read anything since as I'm convinced I'll finish another book and be like "meh, wasn't as good" those books have ruined my reading they're so amazing!
On the up side I got the Game of Thrones books and I'm going to start ploughing into them soon.
