So is Karn, and they remake him all the time.

LOVING the idea of a goblin walker though. Emblem that whenever a goblin enters battelfield you may deal 2 damage to each opponent.

This token exists already his names  {Purphoros, God of the Forge}

Yeah but you can't get rid of an emblem. There are other cards that emblems repeat. Plus it's a goblin walker so it has to be direct damage

I would love to see Mishra rise as a spiteful arch villain hellbent on destroying dominaria for the betrayal by his brother who he falsely believes still resides/hides there...

And I don't know how they could justify it but I want to see jodah, grandson of urza, somehow spark up and ascend because he has been around for ever and even though he doesn't have a spark (didn't stop urza or karn) he could "somehow" get one. That would be awesome, and have him reunite with Jaya Ballard, because they had a thing that ended when she ascended and it felt wrong to have her walk away like that...

He is technically in the time spiral cycle. Traveling with teffari as well as other planeswalkers. So he may just have the spark. I haven't read the cycle, just saw him in there.

3 colour walkers would be great

I'd love to see my boy Gerrard as a planeswalker. Flavor text referring to him is some of the earliest memories of my magic collecting

That would be cool, however the fluff says "mages" that have the spark. Gerard is very cool, although is no Mage.

:(
I admit I know next to nothing about the lore

Spikepit

I'm only speaking from my end of the stick, but to us early era players, that's what the game is about! Ah get into it, man! So of my fav games where ones based completely around the story of the set versus each other.

I'd be down, but I think it's been mentioned in a couple threads including this one that they don't produce the literature like they used to. I guess I should just search the keywords "magic" and "novel" somewhere and see where I can check some out?

You literally can download 3-4 cycles on PDF, and buy some more from amazon for literally 1-3 dollars depending on how old it is.

To bad he might be dead... {Gerrard Capashen} took {Volrath the Fallen} and jumped off a cliff...plus Gerard was created by Urza in the lore as well...a being created by a plainswalker like sorin did with avacyn.

Actually, Gerrard died with urza when the weatherlight transformed into the final form of the legacy weapon and made karn a planeswalker

Weatherlight says this isn't even it's final form...
Well I stand corrected...it was something I read in the magic wiki when my friend wanted to learn a little more of the magic history.

As long as they stop making the dumb comics and write the books again!!!

Right!? The new gen (please don't take offense) doesn't know about reading the books and then seeing the card representation. That used to be one of my favorite parts. I would wait to buy cards till i had read the book just to see the the characters that made the cut
Remember when they put the books in the fat packs?

Thetrufflehunter

Not sure if it's been said, but un-sucky tibalt would make my day, and a new deck around him.
