I've got them in the SB for game 2/3, but I might decide to run 1-2 main after playing it for a bit.

I'd consider cutting a couple lands because drawing them ruins your cantrips and you should draw enough that you shouldn't have land problems as long as you start with 1 or 2 in hand and I'd cut {Epic Experiment}s.

I run {thought scour} in mine to help dig and give {past in flames} more targets. Also doubles as a can trip. I like it and it works well for me.

In the future I'll probably be taking out the {Epic Experiments} for {Desperate Ravings} and maybe more {Pyromancer Ascension}. I prefer ravings of thought scour since blue mana is a bit of a commodity plus it digs deeper.

As for lands, I'm a bit nervous running less since I need blue T1, however I will eventually get more fetches which will let me take out a few basics. But play testing will tell!

It's gotten a bit worse since {Seething Song} was banned but I'm keeping it for now cause I just built the deck yesterday, after play testing for a while I'm sure I'll have some tweaks. The suggestions have been helpful so far though

Updated this deck:

Added {Misty Rainforest} (also meant lowering the land count to 16)
Swapped {Epic Experiment} and {Peer Through Depths} for {Desperate Ravings} and {Faithless Looting}
Added 1 more {Pyromancer Ascension}

Added {Defense Grid} and {Goblin Bushwhacker} to the sideboard (I'm still figuring the SB out)

Any thoughts?

I'll give {Cascade Bluffs} a try, the advantage of {Shivan Reef} is that it can produce coloured mana on its own making 1-land hands with it keepable.

I used to run {Peer Through Depths} but I'm currently testing {Faithless Looting} as well as {Thought Scour} as draw spells. I haven't decided which I like most as of yet.
