Trade binder etiquette?

I have had a lot of trade requests lately because I have my Needs binder folder posted but not my trade binder. I done this on purpose because there is nothing but commons and uncommons in my trade binder. I usually do not trade rares and mythics because i collect entire playable sets and only buy two or three booster boxes per release so that doesn't leave a lot of room to get rid of any. I guess my real question is, is it considered bad etiquette to post commons and uncommons in a trade binder?

I don't imagine so. Though I wouldn't expect to get much from your needed.

People still need commons and uncommons, but if you're looking for something fairly expensive, be prepared to give up the entire binder.

I'll usually just pay cash for those cards. I am into collecting so i gotta see those. I usually will only trade for 2 bucks and < rares and mythics just to round out the playable set.

For the most part people here who trade are looking to trade not sell cards. Also very rare to find someone who would trade for the rares you're looking for and only get commons and uncommons for them.

The only exception is if it is worth a lot for a common, like {lightning bolt}

Eh.

Like {Cabal Therepy}

But yes, if you intend to trade on here, I would recommend opening up your trades a bit more.

I agree somewhat, but nowdays there are only a few cards that make post rotation and hold value. Take {gravecrawler} no one would ever trade that pre rotation but now it's in Modern and that's a bigger competition pool. So a few  {Burning-Tree Emissary} look pretty good for them in my eyes. And as far as green cash goes, you have a ton of green rares and mythics laying around and you don't play that colors, i'm offering average TCG cost for non collectors, not a bad deal.

I'm not saying you can't offer cash, just that most people probably aren't looking for that but won't hurt to ask. I have some I don't care what I do with but it all depends on the person.

Ok, i misunderstood what you said. Sorry. What i'm willing to trade to complete sets is not very substantial as far as money goes. I'm not going above 5 dollars without seeing the card. Although I love to play, my true enjoyment is from collecting

I'll totally take cash for my rares. Heck yeah. I'll PM you with some of the stuff I have from your needed.
