Not that I know of, but we have multiple activations of {Duskmantle Guildmage}!

And Bloodchief isn't hard for a Nath EDH deck to get online, lol.

It isn't hard at all. Throw in a blood artist and you'll have that ascension online in no time.

Not edh, but there is {megrim} for the discard part

Megrim works great as well, and why not both? They'd lose 5 life each go around until the ascension started working then they'd lose 9 life each time. That's from sacrificing just one creature.
