I'd say he's probably limited to standard, unless he has boatloads of cash lying around and finds a Shards fat pack for sale or something. I'd go with innistrad.
Meh, I don't like shards all too much. A few cards, but not enough to justify a fat pack.
Shards was pretty bad, that's why nobody bought the All Foil Packs XD
I did!  Got a foil {Maelstrom Pulse} for my troubles, too. πŸ’ͺ

Ahhh dude!!!
That's sick, I bought a few, but no cards worth mention were pulled.

Perhaps I should get one, then. I do love my foils n_n

They had them on sale a Walmart, so I scooped a couple.

Your Walmart sounds cool, I'm lucky if my local Walmart has anything :( that's why I buy things at a dedicated magic shop ;D

I miss the Dual-Pack... Packs? Lol, that had the "random" Promo insert. I bought a ton of Shadowmoor/Eventide that way, and a few random Unhinged Packs. That same Walmart is crappy for Magic cards nowadays  They only have Intro Packs lying about in a jungle of YuGiOh and PokΓ©mon 

Its not as though I hang out there. XD Sometimes they have great deals that get scooped up like Commander and Premium Deck Series, but individual boosters are over $5. 😑

Wow! I buy boosters for $3.50 each. And are the commander decks really that good? I've never bought one, so I don't know. And I've wanted a premium deck, but never see any :(

BlackJester

The Commander decks sport some ridonkulous casual cards: {Sol Ring} in each one!

XFatal

Hmm... Well should I buy a commander deck over a Fat Pack?

I'm totally biased on this, but I say yes!

I'd say it depends on what you play. But if your meta, or group, allows cards from those sets, and especially if you play multiplayer, then HECK YA!

In that case, which one should I get? The only thing my group doesn't allow are proxies =P

I bought them all, and honestly I like them all except political puppets. I know how the deck is supposed to work, but really, WTF?

Why, what's wrong with it?
