Blue for {Gridlock} at Instant speed you do it at the end of their turn and get a TON of benefits! Plus {Battlewise Hoplite} is great.

Also try {Aquous Form} unblock able is sick but Scry every attack is awesome

Omg the gridlock....

Wow so good

Aqueous form is great. I just won't cut my protection cards for it

{G} if you want realy monsterous stuff. You also get that one card that transfers counters that can cause heroic to trigger before counters are even on the creature. You also have access to ramp.

You also have acess to great tempo options with white, and fight with green...which I think the fight cards even trigger heroic...wow, cast that on the thing that gets three +1/+1 counters...

There's an even nastier one

I think {mutant's prey} or something

Well its "cheaper"

though if the creature doesn't already have a +1/+1 counter, it can't target it to fight a creature

{hunt the weak} might be better

Yep. {pit fight} says "target"
Especially good considering {Centaur Battlemaster}

and it's realy nasty because it's instant speed XD

Red. It works nicely with heroic :) there are tons of small costing red spells that you can target your creatures with. I have an assassin deck with {agent of the faits} and its great :) {messenger speed} {lighting bolt} or whatever that one cost 1 damage one is :) I target him and start wiping creatures out

You could keep zapping your heroic guys to boost your creatures

I'd say {G}{W}, because all the white heroic, a few green heroic, then all those green triggers like {Giant Growth} and white enchants like {Unflinching Courage} (two color but whatever, it's the same colours as in the deck). Just my onion, of course.

I've got a RW heroic decks and it's sick! Once I finish it ill post it

I run {coordinated assault} for multiple heroic triggers for 1 mana. Target 2 phalanx leaders...oh yeah.

White is a great base but it really needs support. The reason is that it lacks the ability or the punch to overcome some of the other decks currently floating around the meta.

Depending what you are coming up against you will possibly find different results.

Also, creature removal hurts. You need to run  {Brave the Elements} or  {Gods Willing} or even  {Guildscorn Ward} to hold off the chosen removals.  {Soldier of the Pantheon} is awesome for this by the way.

Next up you really need to figure out if you want to be running enchantments (auras) to target your guys or cheap spells. This will really change the way you build your deck list.

I've built a heroic deck with each white combo and a green black one and I've found that red/white seems to have the quickest combos to drop out, awesome creatures that you can do some nasty tricks with and just all round solid build.

My green black build (with corpsejack) I found was a little slow and a touch inconsistent. The deck possibly just needed a bit more tweaking but I often found myself with a hand full of cheap spells like {giant growth}s etc and no creature to bomb them on. However when you get it to go off, it's usually a one hit kill.

The advantage I've found with white is the double strike creatures and the amount of synergy and stability you can have in the first 4 turns of the game.
With cheap (and powerful) auras like {Ethereal Armor} and  {Madcap Skills} you can swing for lethal out of nowhere.
Also don't under estimate how good evasion is in this setup. (Yes, even flying)
Also when boros is your colours, the amount of great white and red spells that can change the game for you is quite abundant.

As mentioned blue has some amazing synergies but I've found that the red white setup is often twice as fast, and unless you can set up a timely verdict, the game is over by the time you can settle in to a grinder.
With  {Aqueous Form} and some cypher spells, you can lock down the board.
I've found that mono blue works almost as well as a blue white setup, focusing a key creature rather than a white weenie setup.

White green is a solid colour setup, but I've found that its availability to ignore the heroic creatures and replace them with better ones seems to make a stronger deck. :P

Mono black can run a heroic sub theme in a black devotion deck quite well, but it then leaves you struggling to deal with enchantments and artifacts.

Good luck. Enjoy the build :)

I'm really liking my blue options with {Triton's Tactics}, {Hidden Strings}, {Gridlock}, and {Aqueous Form}. Are there any really good blue or white/blue creatures I should be sure to include?

Top of my head all I can think of is the u/w hoplite, and {judge's familiar}.

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

Naya Heroic!
You have burn, pumps and lots of nice cards.
