True but a T2 Domri leads into the draw that you need to replenish your hand IMO. Like Garruk obviously is better at draw but he's a 6 drop so he's relatively slow even with your ramp. Anyways just my opinion.

And I bet it's awesome for you to see that your preparation paid off!!

To each their own. By turn 3, I can have most anything I need out and crashing around. I'm just so happy with this deck that I could cry.

That's always nice lol so what did you face tn?

Edahlan, just send me a private message if you have any questions or see anything you like :) I'll be happy to help as best I can!
Will do! I can use some help with my gruul deck, it's not in the best of shape due to lack of finances lol, but il def hit you up later with some questions and what not :) but for now it's bed time haha!

Congrats! Placing in tournaments is always exciting! :) I wish I could comment on the deck but standard is not my thing at all. Haha

Mhmmm nice build but still I would find a place for Arbor Colossus and Nykthos... with more devotion ro green the hydra would be cast stronger and also cracking Polukranos for more could be quite useful...;)
But of course those are only few ideas of mine...;)

Of course congratulations to the 3rd place...;)

Deebiia

While those are good ideas, I fear those more costly drops would slow down my deck. It's built for speed and I can always chump block with a smaller Hydra. I may sideboard those cards though.

I did not count towards ur cards for devotion but still I think you could benefit from {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}...;) even without Colossus in deck...:)

And anyway Arbor Colossus is 5 cmc... you could cut Stormbreath Dragon to 3, Ruric to 3 and add two colossuses... Cut two lands add two Shrines and I guess you would benefit from that...;) But of course it would have to be tested...;)

Yikes! Stormbreath stays at 4, lol. That card alone won me the majority of those games. Ruric Thar gets cut down with I add in Anger of the Gods or Bow of Nylea, and since I'm not running straight mono Devotion, Nykthos just doesn't seem all that helpful.

But again, I'll sideboard them perhaps.

I don't necessarily see the shrine as all that helpful.  However maybe a duo of {mutavault} for tricks, outlets, and pressure

Interesting how people are so stubborn about cuting playsets of good cards to three... The probability of drawing the card does not lower that much...;) But I get ur point...:) As I said only an idea...:) Of course yu must know what is best for your deck and against the meta you play...:)

This I like. I saw others running this last night in their Black/White & Esper combos.

I haven't seen it helpful bfr a game day either... But I have seen so many two color decks that benefited from that card especially GR and GB decks...;)

Yeah just.one mountain and one forest perhaps. Options are nice.  And can really help legion loyalists take off of you side them in. Bow could drop counters on them as well.
