Jace looks like sal the lawyer from breaking bad.

Hahah he does! Now we know what Better Call Saul will be about: Saul Goodman fighting planeswalkers.

If this duel deck followed the lore it would be epic. Jace vs ral would bring mono blue control for jace, so cards like {counterspell}, {spell pierce}, {spell snare}, {fact or fiction}. The usual blue control stuff then put it against ral who is more red than red blue, he would have burn spells like {light bolt}, {magma jet}, {fireblast}, {electrolyze}. Mabe {wee dragnaughts}, or {kiln fiend}.

Flavor and story can make an epic deck, so there! to all you nay Sayers!

I would think Jace's deck will be {U}{W} after helping mend the guild pact. This is the last time I'm saying this though. Also, Varaska's biggest quarrels were with the Azrious

The azorious were chasing down jace through the whole 3 part book tryin to arrest him.
Bottom line is jace is the new guild pact. Everyone on ravnica has to listen to him and go word is law. Niv Mizzet even backs down when jace denies him the right to attack selesnya, so once again this lacks any flavor and story line critical to rtr.

They shouldn't have done this deck. I know Jace sells product for Wizards. But think about it - we already had Golgari (Izzet vs. Golgari) and Jace (Jace vs. Chandra). It should've been like Gideon vs. Domri Rade or something. But Gideon is pretty much junk, and Jace is the Mickey Mouse of MtG (most iconic)

Would have been more interesting to see Domri vs Vraska...
Life and Death vs Death and Recycling...

I feel the same way I'd rather see {Venser, the Sojourner} vs. {Domri Rade} for an awesome match between law and the wild

besides. Venser gave up his spark to save Karn from being phrexified. Some argue he's dead, while I think he was brought back to life he (like Teferi) no longer has his spark

Interestingly, Teferi's nickname for Karn when he was young and immature was "arty shovel head"

The new jace art looks weird, if the old {Vraska} was never printed the new art would look a lot cooler, but did you guys notic this is for $20 when Jace is going for $35. There is a lot of value in this for $20

It's not coming out until march 2014.... The question is will jace hold his value until then.

maybe this is a brilliant conspiracy to raise his value? :P
