Duel Decks: Jace vs Vraska (Baseless Speculation and Spoilers)

I don't mind Vraska, but her original art was awesome. Especially foil!

I have to agree though I'm not liking the new Jace art. But oh we'll I love the dual decks so it'll be fun.

What colors will each deck be? Will they be tri-colored or 2-colored? Obviously Vraska is {B}{G} but what about Jace. I'd assume {U}{W}

Do you guys think that this .poop. art Jace will ruin the price on the regular Architect's foil cost? I run both of the foils I have and I don't want them to be worthless in a few months

I was getting ready to find a point to argue on for this...jace's art looks too horrible. It makes him look like some stuck up rich person...

This is exactly the reason I like the jace art. It gives him more of a personality, in my opinion. More flavor. It looks to me like he settled in Ravinica as a noble of some sort, and he's going off to crush a monster. "Just a minor annoyance..." But little does he know the challenge to come. The challenge that is Vraska, the Unseen.

no. Jace is {U}. Also, if there's a second color, I'd say {W} because he's the new guild pact or something

no. Jace is {U}. Also, if there's a second color, I'd say {W} because he's the new guild pact or something

True but {counterspell} makes every other counter magic card practically useless. Like in a Jace deck I'd assume that there'll be a bit of counter magic and each other counter spell has is some unique way to make it less broken than counterspell yet still useful.

Like negate has to be non creature
Essence Scatter has to be a creature
Dissipate is counter it but its {1} more mana

Now compare it to counterspell and why would anyone ever use these. That's my option on why they shouldn't reprint it.

they could remake it, yet give it a drawback. I love {swan song}. It's my favorite counter spell. Maybe something based off that?

They could just put only the 1 counterspell in it. Izzet vs Golgari had a {Brainstorm} in it.

I like the jace art. It's not too... I don't know how to say it. It looks more real. He looks good. And people are whining about another jace dd. this is his 2nd one.

I love how {Swan Song} is $2 normal and then $16 non foil lol but I agree it is a fun card

This duel deck is horrible and lacks any sort of flavor. In the RTR 3 part novels centered around jace, there is no mention of any sort of conflict between jace and vraska.  In fact ral zarek and jace had a big battle at the end of the implicit maze. 

And as everyone else is already voicing the art is horrible. 

This makes me a sad panda
