Metroid for 3DS

I've heard rumors and such of this and was wondering
Would any of you want it?
Cuz I'd buy a 3DS simply for a new Metroid side scrolling adventure.
I personally love metroid. So many collectibles amazing game feel. Terrific story (in my opinion) so is anyone else a fan of Samus and Metroid?
And would anyone buy a 3DS Metroid game?

If they do, hopefully they'll release metroid II as a download for it... Only game I'm missing from the metroid universe, I think

I wouldn't buy a 3DS for the game, but if they made a new metroid sidescroller, and it had a similar style to the old ones, I'd definitely buy it!
