I'm wondering would it at all be wrong to start a pack to power project off of one booster pack and one old tournament pack from like the shards block? That way there's more trade banter to work with

Your supposed to start with one booster and then over time trade with just its contents and what you get untill you have enough value to trade all of it for one power9 peice

My only problem with ptp is that requires others to over trade for the card they r getting, and most ppl won't do that. People don't like loosing value. From everyone I have ever seen try to do it they do it for about a year and get almost nowhere and just stop trying because nobody will help them.

This is true and I've ran into the same thing myself in my fist attempt but this time I'm going to ask every single person I trade with to make a small donation towards my project even if it's just a crappy bulk commen foil. I've already started my "packs to power" lol I got 1 shadowmoor tournament pack and 2 theros packs. I did take one uncommen out of the packs because I needed it for a commander deck lol it was {umbral mantel}
