It worked better than normal. I never had the ranger and the hierophant in play at the same time, but tapping Gaeas cradle four times on my turn and twice on yours was amazing fun. I was so afraid of {holy day} and then an enormous Gideon.

I'm going to put holy day in there now thy is my first attempt at a commander deck focus on pumping the commander being hexproof and all

It's not a bad plan, and if I didn't have the untapping ranger, you could have tapped down my flier and gotten in with an attack each turn.

Honestly, I dislike holy day in edh.  In this game it would have turned the tide, but only because you had a massive Gideon. If he had been normal sized, a holy day would have just delayed my win by a turn.

Ah I see thanks man my buddy has a eldraiz EDH suspend deck so my commander really helps there be it several times
