Those people are CRAY-ZEE!! 😳
I always write numbers from most significant to least.

If I wake up from a coma, the first thing I'd want to know is "What year us it?" then "What month is it?". The day is not really that important.

It's cuz you're a Canuck. The rest of us don't have to worry about going comatose after ODing on maple syrup.  ;D

So, you don't think that drinking milk that expired a year ago is more significant than milk that expired yesterday?  Want to come over for a glass of milk?   ;D

(I lost my cousin to maple syrup.  They had him cremated and made into a lollipop.  It was sad... :( and delicious! :9)

Milk that expired a year ago... *shudder* but, you cannot drink that! It will be a solid by then! Hahaha, if it's not then that's some seriously pasteurized milk!! Besides, I love milk! It's my favorite! <3 So I have plenty here thanks. :P

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. I'm sure he was a very brave lumberjack. RIP Jest's cousin! May you find plenty a beer and Canadian Bacon in the afterlife.  :'( :'( :'(

Lol to explain my date reference. In Australia we say its the 16th of march, 2012. Hence we write the date 16/03/2012

I've noticed that some people over your side of the globe do things a little different ;)

I typically use the ISO 8601 international date format YYYY-MM-DD, so today would be 2012-03-15.  Dashes are sometimes replaced with dots if it'll affect code.  'Cause, yeah I'm nerdy like that.   8)

In the Army we would use 16MAR2012 to write the date.
