So say I use {Mindslaver} and an {Consuming Vapors} to sacrifice my opponents {Treasury Thrull} would I gain the life? Also rebound? am I able to use the rebound or is it up to my opponent?

If you control a player and make them cast their spell ten all instances of "you" refers to them because you are making their decisions not replacing them during their turn.
