Actually, infect remains 10

House rules typically allow for 15-20 counters. If you stress that it's 10 in the rulebook, I'd just like to point out that this is a casual format

Casual format does not equate to change the rules where you see fit. Part of the fun of magic, especially a diverse format like EDH, is to find answers to various scenarios, I've killed with infect in EDH many times, but I've also been stopped from doing so just as often. House rules are fine if you want to use them, but don't post them on here as if they are fact! You had me running to check the rules, I thought I'd been playing wrong all this time.

I would take out avacyn's pilgrim and clone for fauna shaman and acidic slime. Fauna shaman is great because she allows you to grab who you need when you need them, and acidic slime is just mean, especially when you use planeswalker venser's + ability with him.

Not sure you need 1-drop mana dorks. They typically don't stay around all that long. Your avg CMC should be astonishingly higher than your avg Standard CMC. Anything that can't perform on its own (or in conjunction with your general) or grow into a mean killing machine must go (:

I can see that exchange. Although clone is occasionally super helpful. Depending on the total board state, acidic slime blows up maze of ith.

Most of the time I keep everything that I play on the board. The guys we had that had sweeper-heavy decks don't run those anymore or they can't play anymore, etc. so my mana dorks are both a sublime exalted trigger and a land.

I would use survival of the fittest over fauna shaman, because enchantments generally are harder to deal with and you can use it the turn it comes into play.

I would also switch out clone, but instead of switching it for acidic slime, I would switch it for phyrexian metamorph.

If you want to add slime, I would suggest adding some more ETB effect creatures along with deadeye navigator (for repeatable use of their ETB effects)

I actually already have a foil Metamorph in the deck that I "stole" in exchange for two {Spectral Procession}s. in fact I "stole" most of the deck, and I've only brought about half the value of the deck.

Also, I think I'd rather have the Shaman over the enchantment. I can {Muddle the Mixture} transmute, Green Sun for 2, etc.

No too sure about Deadeye. I've already got Venser for now. But if I do add more etb guys, I'll definitely add him.
