So, let's say I have an {Akroan Crusader} and throw a {Coordinated Assault} on him:

1) Could I target the same Crusader both times, and

2) If I can, would I get one token or two out of this?

Up to two. That's the key phrase. You have only chosen one, and you cannot choose the same one twice to fulfil up to two as it would still be a total of one.

Are you sure doesn't it target before it resolves? Then once it's targeted that's when Heroic resolves and places a token. Then the spell resolves.

Still confused sorry (it is 4am lol) so here's how I see it and correct me.

1. Cast  {Dauntless Onslaught}
2. Target  {Akroan Crusader}. Since the Crusader is targeted from a spell that's been cast I put a token onto the battlefield
3. Ohhhhh Id have to target both at the same time my bad
