It should be banned. With  {Academy Ruins} and tron ( {Urza's Mine}  {Urza's Power Plant}  {Urza's Tower} ) , it's turning into a yughioh-type win: buy these cards and win every time.  {Mindslaver} Previous versions of Tron were overpowered, but still took some amount of work from the player. This is broken.

Dude, Tron is slow and quite frankly, inferior to other combo decks in the format. It isn't broken at all.

{Mindslaver} only does so much. But, it does help secure the win sometimes, which means it probably will go the way of {Bloodbraid Elf} eventually 😒

i never understood why bloodbraid was banned though.  I didn't play modern until after it was banned, so I don't know what it is like to go up against it.

{Liliana of the Veil}, {Dark Confidant}, and {Tarmogoyf}, basically.

4 CMC for a 3/2 haste and one of those three is pretty devastating.

I play tron and honestly it takes forever to get that combo up an running. It's obviously an instant win but so is Melira pods combo or Kiki that's just as fast. I don't see what your complaint is

Me too! And frankly, i only mindslave/lock 1/10 games, and its always against control :P

Yup. I was playing someone online. He was at 9 and tapped out. I was at 2 and dead next turn. I cast bloodbraid and cascaded into  {Groundbreaker}... GG

Yeah, I guess I was a little hasty to demand banning it... it doesn't help that the place I play weekly is overflowing with tron decks... regardless, there's always a way around it
