I'll admit, there isn't a whole lot we can do. The hard work is up to you!  You can't make trades willy-nilly an then cry to us mods about it. You need to do a background check, so to speak. See if they're on the trusted/untrustworthy traders threads. If they aren't on either one, ask them to send first or ask around. There are several people (myself included) who have spent loads of money on stamps to do trades here. They may have an idea about a particular trader's trustworthiness. This whole thing is at your own risk. It isn't our job to protect your cards and go hunt down someone of they steal from you.  However, we can be used as an insurance policy through the middleman service.

Like Mike said, there are tools at your disposal. Use them. Not trying to be an ass, but this is something most long-time members have seen happen again and again. There are several ways to prevent theft. If you choose not to use them, then you take that extra risk.

Being fired up about the situation doesn't change the fact that you indeed talked badly about our mods....like I said we are all aware that we are trading at our own risk. If you can't handle that...don't trade...no one is forcing you. I do not think an ip ban would accomplish anything as he's come back multiple times with a new IP address, which has been stated earlier. I do agree that his mailing address should be made known so we know where to not send cards. His name could be left off, but if he's shady enough he could have people mail to his friends house.

i'll just state that i agree fullheartedly with the mods on this one, just a question. doesn't us here talking about it allow him insight on what move to take next, i mean he knows were not ip banning him, so therefore he will probrably move names anyway. and now he knows his adress is accessible. he's apparently clever so it seems he continues to prey on our community. it makes me sick to think of how much $ he's claimed off of people.

You know if you pay $3-4 you can do a background check on someone it'll come back with there phone number criminal history address name name of family hometown job .. Everything and I'm sure you could use that to contact the police with
