Dudecore made me hip to Drive to Work eight months ago and I've been obsessed with podcasts ever since then. I even started doing my own.

I love Drive to Work. I started on #26 and did a marathon of the previous 25 episodes in three or four days. It's a great insight into R & D's process.
About how long did that take? I want to do this too but I have not found the time b

If I'm doing a 30 minute episode, it takes 45 minutes to an hour to record because I stop recording a lot to collect my thoughts and drink something (lubricating your vocal chords is key if you're talking for a long period of time,) and anywhere from two to five hours to edit, depending on what I want to cut out and how much I say "Um." If you want to sound more professional, then most of your time will be spent in the editing phase. Some podcasts don't do any editing and put episodes up as-is, but I try to make mine a little more professional by cutting out "dead air" and "Ums."

If you (or anyone else) is interested in podcasting, then check out Podcasting 101. It's a great resource.
