RTR packs last week

I went with my friend Ivan to wal mart for some RTR packs after a miserable m14 fatty. (Literally no cards worth anything)

Bought 8 packs and 1 pack of Gatecrash.

Gatecrash pack was a dud. We got {Biovisionary}. Not the worst, but not what I'm looking for.

1st pack of RTR. I was opening. Got {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice}. Sick start. But in the back, was a FOIL {Lotleth Troll}! $20 pack. Boom.

2nd pack was Ivan. He opened a {Rakdos, Lord of Riots}. Super awesome. Not a chase rare, but I think he is gonna go up.

3rd pack was me. Boom. {Hallowed Fountain}

4th pack was Ivan. {Steam Vents} as well, sweet.

5th pack was me, and a dud. I can't even remember lol

6th pack was Ivan, also a dud. Although it did have a foil Island

7th pack was me, got {Mizzium Mortars}, decent pull

8th and final pack of RTR was {Niv-Mizzet Dracogenius}. Definitely not a great mythic, but hey, I'm not complaining.

So we got 3 different guild leaders, 1 foil {Lotleth Troll}, a foil {Island}, {Mizzium Mortars} and 2 shock lands from 8 packs. Great day

The amount of shocks in rtr makes it a solid set. Dumb old Gatecrash and DGm would be worthless if it weren't for shocks. And {Voice of Resurgence}/{Domri Rade}

Pretty solid pulls, though!

Although with DGM, you can get a shock and a mythic

I bought quite a bit of DGM and I know people who opened like three boxes and I haven't heard or seen a shockland being pulled out of them yet. I know they were supposed to be less common to avoid a price drop but still.

Finally saw someone open a Shockland in DGM last night!

Ordered a box of RTR from Kings Games and they do a free pack per box, my free pack had a foil {Jace, Architect of Thought}.. The box on the other hand was lame, I came out a little ahead but the only good cards were {Sphinx's Revelation} and like 5 shocklands

Dgm had gates instead of basic lands, but u had a 1 in 20 chance that it was a shock instead of gate.
