You can. It's still the same spell, regardless of its cost.

Rifts casting cost is {1}{U}
Overload doesn't count in this case, same reason you aren't able to {Snapcaster Mage} to Flashback an overload cost because it isn't the cards cmc.

This is just the brew I play. It's not a meta deck (yet) so there isn't a newer build. This particular brew is made to last post rotation. I don't think I'm changing it. It's working really really well at my FNM

If you're interested in playing this before rotation, you can mix in buddy lands, think twice and dissipates. And board all those blue-white side board cards we all know and love

This caught my eye and I built it on cockatrice, only with no {Aetherling} and added {Staff of Nin}. Either way, great job on this deck. +1, you have got a creative mind! The deck performed well, and was fun to play.

Hey man really like the deck. I was thinking abou making something similar, as I really love haunted plate mail. Have you thought about {azorius keyrune}? Midht be good bc it helps ramp but also allows for pressure after board wipes.

Considering an American version of this. I like {Warleader's Helix} with council. A lot. Also, if its American, what do you think of the synergy between {Assemble theLegion} and {Tajic, Blade of the Legion}?
