Is {Quietus Spike} a good card? Why?

NB. I'm not an advocate for this card, just a common discussion point I come across.

Yes!!!  Death touch to get rid of their creatures do you can get him through, and then maybe your other creatures will kill them off even if they wouldn't normally!!!

It's good. I run it in a Ninjutsu deck. I attatch it to something like  {Tormented Soul} to deal 1 damage plus half healthing them. I used to think it was halving instead of damage, but it's damage, trigger half health.

Nah, mana cost keeps it in check I think. It's a good effect, yes, but 6 mana to drop+equip keeps it from being too crazy
