New to Magic...looking to building a deck

Better than nothing.Or,you could try an Event Deck.

How i started was My friend told me to buy 4 packs and I'd have a deck. If you are just playing casual you should buy packs and trade for cards, go to your local game store and see what cards they have. If you want a list there is a page full of decks for casual and cards that are cheap. Otherwise you can find a friend (the one who has played the longest) and trade for his crap commons. For instance you dont need to buy {dissipate} cause you can use {cancel} if your game store sells singles look through their crap cards for stuff like {shock} or what you need. But for your deck get 4 {elvish mystic} and 4 {kalonian tusker}. Dont spend 30 dollars on old cards because someday you will want to play standards at FNM and you will be dissapointed if all your deck is too old. I hope you can figure out how. Remember we were all new at somepoint too.
