Hey. So here's the story. I play with some if my school friends during my lunch friends. We play casually but aren't afraid to get anal on rules. Ive been playing a white weenie-control deck for some time, making use of really effective creatures like {Porcelian Legionare} as well as equipment based metalcraft with cards like {Batterskull} and {Puresteal Paladan} and my friend comes in with a blue black  discard deck and I've been losing constantly. Any ideas on how to counter it.             Id rather not have to switch colors        TL;DR white weenie losing to blue black discard WAAAAAA

Add some elixer of immortalitys and a big eldrazi that really big ones that shuffle your graveyard in once they go into it

That's going to be really hard is the basis of your deck creature advantage or rallying forces or what?

Empires combo might help being able to drop alot of tokens u might over power then add cards like coat of arms to increase ur small guys

My deck rellys heavily on rallying force. 4x {Gardian Pledge} :). I'll try the elixir, but eldrazi is just too expensive

Mentonin

The idea of the eldrazi is NOT pay for it, its to discard so you shuffle your deck back together

Spikepit

He's right that what the Eldrazi Spawn were created for.

I like the idea of the empires combo more, but I lack the {Throne of Empires} :(

If you are having trouble with discarding, and you are playing Casual (which is the forum) You might want to add equipment to help you fill up your hand like {Mask of Memory} or {Infiltration Lens}.  Perhaps {Remember the Fallen} to guy some of your guys back.  Are you being milled, or just can't play with no cards in hand?

Prophylaxis

You're playing WW, right? Shouldn't you get your creatures out first?

I would just say make your WW deck more aggressive and leaner. If you want to play cards that punish discard, madness, {Bottled Cloister}, and {Ensnaring Bridge} are your friends.

I play a w/w deck all soldiers and a cleric grand abolisher is a life saver

Wow, somany great ideas! Thanks I'll see if I can get a hold of some of those cards. I started recently so most of my cards are from the Scars of Miirodin block
