um no. a card is a card, and a token is a token.

it will be a token copy of a card. hence its still a token.

You do not put a token, the card just  --- enters the battlefield as a copy of it---, thats why it works.
Its like a forced {clone}
Your statement here is false. Just like I said. You are saying that it enters as a copy. The beginning part of that says "creatures" so that means it still separates the difference between a creature spell and a token. It doesn't differentiate. So yes, it will make a copy of {Essence of the Wild}, but the permanent type does not change! It is a token and did not come from a creature spell. So therefore, token is the final ruling. Rant/

There is a difference between a token copy as in {dance of many} and a copy as in {essence of the wild} if the card never grants the phrase "token" it is not treated as a token. It came from an ability, a spell is cast, if u place something onto the battlefield it was never played as a spell. Clone enters the battlefield as a copy but is not a token.

I'm sorry, I think you are confused still.
{Essence of the Wild} can not create cards from tokens, spells or otherwise.

However, if you happen to play another creature card {Arbor Elf}, for example. It will enter as a card copy of {Essence of the Wild}.
Tokens you create from  {Call of the Conclave} will create token copies of  {Essence of the Wild}.

As already mentioned, tokens cease to exist when changing zones. So the call of the conclave token version of essence will not exist after it dies, but the arbor elf will still exist in your graveyard when it dies.

When something creates a creature from nothing, it is represented as a token. This is not a card.

Token: A marker used to represent any permanent that isn't represented by a card. See rule 110.5.

200.3.: Some objects that aren't cards (tokens, copies of cards, and copies of spells) have some of the parts of a card, but only the ones that are also characteristics. See rule 110.5 and rule 706.
