How are you supposed to effectively use this card?? I'm baffled and confused. {Battle of Wits}

Birdbrain

In a casual game

{izzet guildmage} + {training grounds} + {mana morphose}

Than, when you get enough mana, you can copy {research//development} enough to put 200 cards into your library from your collection

 There's a casual version of magic called Prismatic

"In Prismatic or 5-Color, players must build very large decks (at least 250 cards) and accommodate a minimum number of cards of each color. This format was first developed by Kurt Hahn and several other players in the Milwaukee area. 5-Color is managed by the 5CRC, which while not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or the DCI, does organize tournaments, has its own list of banned and restricted cards and has a world championship held at Gen Con. It also supports ante cards, an initial component of the rules for Magic that has since been deprecated. When Magic Online was under development, this format was requested by many users, and it was added as "Prismatic" with slight differences. An additional "big deck" mulligan is also standard online, allowing players to compensate for hands with too many or too few lands."

It saw a little constructed play. People made 250-ish card decks, loaded them with tutors and other spells to fish out the spell, and just try to find it. Typically included {Fog Bank}a and other defensive cards to keep them alive long enough to try to find it.

Okay the other play type makes more sense to me I just couldn't understand it's purpose for a standard 60 card deck

I think the rule is the deck can be as large as you want as long as you can shuffle and present it, so if you have big hands you can make a deck around this probably
