I have {Jenara, Asura of War} and my opponent enchants it with {One Thousand Lashes}.  If on the next turn I attach {sword of feast and famine} to it, does the {one thousand lashes} then fall off due to now having protection from black?

I saw this similar instance with and enchantment for a creature with power 3 or less and the judge ruled that once the creature was above 3 power the enchantment would fall off, I'm assuming that this would happen the same way.

Giggle the Draco Genius

Yep the enchantment would fall off as soon as it got pro black without a chance to react once it has the protection

702.15c: A permanent or player with protection can't be enchanted by Auras that have the stated quality. Such Auras attached to the permanent or player with protection will be put into their owners' graveyards as a state-based action. (See rule 704, "State-Based Actions.")

Paraluke

I almost mixed it with shroud or hexproof. Time to go to bed.

Let's say I  {Cyclonic Rift} overloaded and my opponent cast something that has protection from blue as an instant on {Odric, Master Tactician}. Does Odric go back to his hand because of Cyclonic Rift?

Yes. Once overloaded, the spell no longer targets anything, so protection won't help.
