Good Commanders

Making a post about {Maraxus of Keld} in another thread made me remember an EDH deck based I had once with him as Commander. A deck for the fun of it involving taking control of as much as you can just to swing with him. It was silly and enjoyable but rarely came off, however, today's selection of {Act of Treason} style things in red, I might give it another crack!

I would go with {krenko mob boss} with the {act of treason} style. Alot of cheap ways to get out goblins and would just add to maraxus. Another angle to consider

{Kemba, Kha Regent} - Cats, Kor, and lots and lots of equipment
{Krenko, Mob Boss} - goblin swarm
{Ertai, Wizard Adept} - countermagic grief
{Olivia Voldaren} - vampire tribal
{Geist of Saint Traft} - angel and spirit tribal
{Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind} - card draw combo
{Tajic, Blade of the Leigion} - soldier tribal
{Animar, Soul of Elements} - Gruul & Simic +1/+1 counter beat down
{Ghave, Guru of Spores} - Fungi and lots of saproling tokens
{Sharuum the Hegemon} - Artifact overload. Only a few sorceries / instants & basic lands aren't artifacts
{The Mimeoplasm} - zombie tribal
(I'll update if I can remember more. Not that anyone really cares.)
