Is there a way to use {Chandra, the Firebrand}'s -2 to target a miracled  {Bonfire of the Damned}?

Resolved thx. That would be worthwhile if i hit a bonfire for 4. Amp it up into a game ender with 2 mana.

Nope. Planeswalker abilities are at sorcery-speed. Miracles happen during the Draw step, which means you'd have to Chandra during the Upkeep or during your opponent's turn if you extra-draw into it

A better way to do this, use {Increasing Vengeance}

702.92b states something along the lines of you can reveal the card as you draw it and it stays revealed until played etc. it didn't sound like it needed to be played right away, just revealed. If this is the case, you can reveal the card when you draw it, play Chandra's -2 then cast it for the miracle cost.

I agree, miracle is a bit confusing. I also didn't see anything regarding miracle that says you can cast a sorcery during your opponent's turn. My interpretation is that it changes the casting cost of the spell but nothing else about it.  Are there any rulings regarding this ability that can shed some light?

702.92a: Miracle is a static ability linked to a triggered ability (see rule 603.10). "Miracle [cost]" means "You may reveal this card from your hand as you draw it if it's the first card you've drawn this turn. When you reveal this card this way, you may cast it by paying [cost] rather than its mana cost."

You are casting due to the resolution of the ability. It is still a sorcery it is just ignoring usual timings of a sorcery due to this trigger, you can still counter a miracled {Bonfire of the Damned} with a {Dimir Charm}

Edit:
So what happens is, you draw it, you reveal it, you are asked if you want to cast it. If yes, cast for miracle, if no do not cast now and it stays revealed. Since you said no to casting you have lost the opportunity to use miracle cost although you can still cast for its normal cost at its normal speed
