Mmm, dat .poo. ultimate. Seriously, that's a "first two abilities only" PW IMO. Not too bad though. Not as broken as the {R}{G} one, though. Since, you know, those colors need more power in standard right now 😒

Ya the ultimate is meh. BUT the 1st two are great. It's like Nephalia DY In a PW but then again PWs are quite easy to deal with. But still the -X ability can be great especially if you can keep him alive for long enough. You can steal there big threat and just punish those pesky Aggro players.

That being said I know it's only 1BU but vs. aggro don't control players want something to protect them like mana open for {Doom Blade} or something? But idk I've never really played control

I like his speculation on a certain counterspell that shall become better...
{Essence Scatter} anybody.  Without that {cavern of souls} bothering us anymore, this could help.  Speaking of counterspells, did anyone see the blue one that only counters blue spells.  I lol'd because of its stupidity. 
Also, his deck confused me slightly.  Ashnod's (Whatever her name is) effect states cards exiled with her can be used for her second ability.  But his deck was full of other cards that exiled his stuff.  hmm...

anyway, it goes in my {Mimeoplasm} EDH anyway.

I wonder if I should preorder the new Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver now at $25, or risk it going up. I don't think it's amazing, but I don't want it to skyrocket like {Liliana of the Veil}

Its a 3 mana plains walker with no real downsides other than no protecting itself. The fact it goes straight to 5 is great, and then keeps a decent amount of control over the opponent's resources. It's not like Liliana's sacrifice, but you have other cards for that. My guess is it will fit quite well with those Dimir or Grixis control decks giving you the power cards from your opponents deck when you need them or just straight out denying them.

I'd say get your playset before they go up. The amount of early control and power you have from this card will be amazing.
